A BIT ABOUT US
After over a decade of incredible construction and carpentry experience in New York City, we are excited to bring our skills and our family to the San Francisco Bay Area. We are family owned and operated. Originally from Poland, we love to incorporate our European roots and NYC experience into every project.
Maverick is our German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) who defines the word perfectly. He has been a huge inspiration to our projects and motivation behind our business. We realized that we want to provide a Maverick type of service; original and individualistic. We love unorthodox projects, designs you won't find repeated anywhere else. This is how Maverick's Home Improvement came to be.

BARTEK POLAK
Bartek started his career in construction as a teenager in NYC. He has performed a wide variety of jobs and projects where he acquired his skills and expanded his talents including home renovation and remodels, carpentry, cabinet making and major work on commercial and residential buildings in the NYC skyline. When he moved to California he decided it was time to become an independent contractor to allow for more flexibility and personalized service for customers. Home renovations and cabinet making is his passion. He enjoys to see his work come together into place.
When he is not working on a project, Bartek loves to hike, fish and just enjoy the California outdoors with his family including of course, his GSP Maverick.
